Twilight Inspired Birthday Card and Purse

Up front I'm going to apologize for the photos, LOL They were taken at night, I need to purchase more lights.
I'm also using this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch. I offer the MTC file Here which you can download.

This card will be for my sisters birthday which is today. She's a big Twilight fan! We had plans to meet up today, but then my older son suddenly needed unscheduled surgery and my whole week and appointments got tossed aside. Next week is not looking any better. LOL

I used the paper stacks, chipboard etc., by DCWV,  Immortal Love. I purchased the whole set last year,  I'm sure with the movie coming out it will be popular once again. The apple and rose are part of the chipboard elements.

The quote I used Zephyr Font, hearts are basic shapes from within the MTC program and some greenery. I chalked the edges of my white card base to match the blueish mat. I lightly added black but you can't notice it much in the photo.

The image on the bottom right of my card is actually a hand drawn image by a very talented artist by the name of Rebecca Blair. She has given me permission to use her image. I have been following her for a couple years now, you can view her gallery Here. The image on my card has been re-sized fairly small so the quality is not there. To see a larger view of the image stop by her gallery.
Thank you Rebecca for giving me permission for the use of your image.

Inside view of my card, if you are a Twilight fan you may recognize one of the quotes from the book "New Moon". Since it's for a birthday it worked. Paper is also from the Immortal Love Stack. Photo corners are from the 8x8 stack. The 8x8 stack comes with really nice vellum sentiments, stickers, alphabet and brads.

The back of the card, once again using a sticker from the 8x8 stack.

The is the cupcake purse to go with the card. This cutting file is from Nancy at Cre8ive Cutz. You can find the file Here.

I used black cardstock for the base of my purse, and the trim is from Immortal Love Stack, along with the handles and closure. The flower is a Recollections flower with some x-mas red Stickles added. I used the moon chipboard piece from Immortal Love.

Some additional photos of the purse.

Are you still with me, LOL. I used a Sizzix embossing folder on the purse front. I think that about covers it.
I hope you have enjoyed my projects, I had fun making them.

I'm not a die-hard fan, but I definitely like the series, and will definitely go see the final movie when it comes out. :)
