Hockey Desktop Calendar

Something a little different from me today. This photo was taken when my son was in the hospital, a few of the Penguins players paid him a visit. I can't tell you how excited he was!

I made some time to play in Photoshop this morning, created a quick desktop wallpaper calender. Used lots of Grungy Brushes from Amanda Rockwell, some elements from Shabby Princess
I made the calender brush and the team logo in the background. I went to the team FB page this morning, they posted a message with the Logo about 20 minutes prior. LOL It's exactly what I was looking for!  Lowered the opacity a bit so it blends into the background paper.

The hockey player pattern file is from ScrappyDew. Exported him from MTC as a transparent PNG so I could use the file in Photoshop. I could waste so much time playing in Photoshop. I almost stopped using it completely when I started creating with my cutting machine. I'm slowly getting back into using it again.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

  1. Looks wonderful Michelle. I too have Photoshop but hardly ever use it mostly because I spend too much time using Illustrator to design my cutting files. It's such a shame as I know it's a wonderful, program but I just never seem to get round to learning how to use it properly !!
