iheart2stamp sketch for April

One day while surfing the web I came across this site for card sketches, Here. So many times I'm stumped for a card design, and need inspiration. I asked Jen if I could convert the sketch into a cutting file and she has given me permission. So if you are looking for inspiration please check out her blog. Here is the card I made, very short on time today so it is was quick one.

I used the Gamsol Technique but one of my colored pencil tips kept on breaking, it was so frustrating, LOL

For the seal on the back I stamped a Inkadinkadoo stamp, scanned it and brought it into Photo Impact, adjusted the brightness and contrast, levels. I used the text tool and the warp feature and made the inner part -Created especially for you by Michelle and added it to the seal. I saved it as a jpeg and then brought it into Make The Cut and did a pixel trace on it, this way I can resize it any size I need for other projects. I then printed it out and signed it.

Supplies Used:       K&CoMPANY paper stack Abrianna
                              Recollection stamp Freedom Flowers
Queen & Co Rhinestones from ACMoore
                              Stickles Spiced Marmalade and Yellow
Home Made Glimmer Mist on the butterfly
                              Bazzill card stock

Question, has anyone purchased clear stamps and not be able to remove them from their backings? Michaels
had a bunch of Inkadinkado stamps on sale for $3.00 last week and I can't remove some from their backings. If I take them back I know they will be gone. I think they (Michaels) are doing away with the brand, and I really like the particular stamps I purchased.

What I was thinking of doing is cutting them apart with the backing still attached and adding some Aleenes tack it over and over and then adhere them to the acrylic block when needed. If it works I will let you know.

You can download the files for the card below. If you use the file please give credit to Jen for the sketch.

  1. Your quick one looks great. I like your idea for making a speciality tag for the back and thanks for the link. Going to check it out.

  2. I was curious about your clear stamp problem. It sounds like Inkadinkadoo will send replacements if you contact them. Read about that here:

  3. Lisa, thank you so much for the info. I'm going to contact them on Monday. They are so stuck on there. It took over 30 minutes just to remove one word and it almost tore the stamp.
