Under the Sea Palz Tag - Piercing Tutorial

This is my example for the Piercing Tutorial and Blog Giveaway for my blog.

I used the Rhinestone Feature in MTC to create a Piercing Template for my tag. I also used the Basic Shapes Tag in MTC for my project. You can find my tutorial and more info Here

I used Scrappy Dew's,  Under the Sea Palz

I applied some Glossy Accents for the bubbles and chalked some of the edges.

Remember, you have until Sat., 12 noon Eastern Standard to complete your tag and be entered in the Giveaway.

Last Minute Projects!

This was our last challenge for the year on the MTC forum. We were to create an angel using the SVG files from Here This is my finished project. I'm not going to list supplies as this will be a quick post.

I needed a tag this week for a birthday and decided to go through all my left over shapes I had cut from previous projects. I managed to put together a decent looking tag. I also made a flower.

One of the girls (Jeannie) on the MTC Forum shared a Gift Card Box with us and this is what I made with it. It was perfect timing because I needed a last minute little box for a gift card. I hand cut elements from a coordinating piece of patterned paper.

Well, that is it for today. Are most of you all finished or do you still have last minute things to do? I have a long list of things I still need to accomplish. LOL

Have a great day!

Tag Card

I made this Tag for my little nephew, I'm going to use it for his gift card for Christmas. This little elf is so cute!

I used the Elf Kids Boy and Girl Set You get a nice variety of Elves in this set.

The tutorial I used to create this card is Here. This is a nice size tag which measures 4 1/4 x 6 inches high and uses a 12 x 12 sheet of paper to make.  I think it would look nice hanging from the tree also. You can tuck an extra little gift inside.
I applied some Glossy Accents to the eyes to make them stand out a bit. I used some red Stickles on the cuff of his hat, tassel, bow and ribbon on the gift box. I used Cotton Candy Stickles for his nose.

I used a Martha Stewart punch for the red eyelet trim. The Merry Christmas stamp is from Punkin Patch Stamps and the No Peeking Sentiment is computer generated using Vivaldi Font. The blue label is from the Silhouette Store, also applied some Royal Gems to the ends.

For my inside tag, I chalked the edges using a red and green chalk. The red pull tag is a shape I had left over from another tag project. The Gift Box Stamp is from Recollections, I used Red Dragon Embossing powder on it from Stampendous. I used some Crochet Cotton for the string of the tag.
