Damask Chair Box

Have an upcoming wedding?
This chair box will be perfect as wedding favors.

Another beautiful design by Cecelia of Crafting Creatures.  File will be available in the next day or so.
Chair name tags are include in the file, I chose to leave it off and let the Damask design show.
I created a shadow layer for the box tag, adhered it with 3M Double Sided Foam Tape. It gives a bit of dimension. I cut out my initial and applied a rhinestone, also added a heart charm to the ribbon.
I hope you enjoyed my project, thanks for stopping by!

Have a Great Day!

Kite Ribbon Storage

If you're like me, this ribbon mess looks a bit familiar to you. LOL Well, mine was a somewhat organized ribbon mess. I've been looking for a quick project to do lately. My friend Cecelia, of Crafting Creatures, had just the project.
Kite Ribbon Storage
A nice and easy way to store all those extra pieces of leftover ribbon from projects. This is such a great idea! I can now see all my ribbon at a quick glance. I cut out three pieces from thick sheets of cardstock, I did not have any cereal boxes. That would have been the ideal thing to use.
I used scraps of cardstock and sandwiched them between the layers for my kites. A great way to use up those scraps of cardstock!

This file will be available shortly, either by tonight or tomorrow morning.
Now, doesn't this look so much better!
I put some embroidery cording on the tails, would have liked to use Trendy Twine, but did not have the right colors.

I hope you enjoyed my project! I know it's been awhile since I've posted one.

DIY Flocking!

I have to share this awesome idea by Cecelia of Crafting Creatures!

You can get the instructions on her blog. Now you can coordinate the flocking by using the same paper from  your project. Another great way to save money!

I hope you found this useful.

3D Cake, Card and Box

For my project today I'm using a pattern file by Crafting Creatures

The file includes a 3D Cake, Card & Mats and a Box. You get a very detailed PDF with step by step instructions and photos. The PDF is included with each file you purchase from Cecelia. You'll never have to guess how to assemble one of her files.

I will personalize my box for the recipient, I'm not sure who will receive it just yet.

The one thing I like about Cecelia's boxes, she has these little tabs for easy opening. Have you ever tried to open a tight fitting box? You just can't get a good grip. The box that comes with the file will have the mat style opening. I used one of her previous boxes because I did not have enough acetate to cover the opening. LOL
Bottom view of the cake stand. I added a little bow.
I did not add any text or a sentiment, I wanted my cake to be the focus point. I will personalize the outside of my box.

Supplies used: Crafting Creatures 3D Cake, Card & Mats and Box
Cardstock - Recollections Textured Purple, White
Recollections Jar Flowers
Sizzix Embossing Folder
Stickles Lavender

Thanks For Looking!

Cube Box with Poinsettia and Cupcake Tag

I had a bit of free time yesterday to create this Cube Box with Poinsettia flower on top. This lovely set is by Crafting Creatures You can get a more detailed view of what's included on Cecelia's Blog Here
You get the cube box, wreath, tags, flower picks and a card box. You get a detailed PDF with many photos and a written tutorial explaining how to create and color the flowers along with putting the boxes together.

The poinsettia flower is a quilling style flower, so they are very easy to put together. I cut them using white cardstock and colored them with some Bic Markers.

I also made a flower pick for a cupcake.

This time I left the poinsettia white and just colored the center stamens silver and leaves green.

The sentiments are from My Thoughts Exactly - Holly Jolly Tags and Many Thanks.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Have a great Day!
