Playing in Photoshop

Today I spent some time playing in Photoshop. It's about 2 years since I've created a digi layout. I'm so rusty! LOL I purchased some new vintage overlays by Nancie Rowe Janitz yesterday.

Working in Photoshop relaxes me, I can spend hours creating and tweaking. All my brushes, actions, textures etc. are on another computer, so I had limited supplies to work with on my laptop downstairs. I just needed some time to think and play. LOL
This is my son Gunnar, we were at a state park. He's throwing leaves at me.

Supplies used: Jofia Devoe The Smell of Summer
Bkerr Lullaby
Amanda Rockwell April 2010 Overlays
Nancie Rowe Janitz Dreamy 6 Vintage Overlays
Bintys Twi Meadow Mask

I know this is not craft related, but just wanted to share.

Thanks for looking.

  1. It's lovely Michelle. I should take time to get to know Photoshop better as I know I have only scratched the surface.

  2. Michelle - What do you mean - it's not craft related?!?!!! Sure it is?!! Being able to do digi with software is still a "craft" - a very fine honed craft too! Looks great. I really need to learn to use my photoshop and illustrator software. I think if I were to ever actually scrap it would probably be the digi kind! TFS MeFlick

    1. thank you Melanie! Just not enough hours in the day anymore, it only takes up hard drive space, no mess. That is why I started doing it. You can create some amazing work in digi. But now I'm back to the messes again!!
